Buying a Shaped Wedding Ring
A traditional straight-edged wedding ring does not often fit flush against the edge of the engagement ring. This inevitably gives rise to accelerated wear, particularly of the engagement ring.

In order to make your fitted ring we will need to borrow your engagement ring for approximately one working week. This is the only way to ensure the best fit. Many of our shaped options can be diamond set in a number of ways.
Considerations
The main consideration is the width of the ring in relation to your engagement ring. It is common to have the wedding ring just a little wider than the width of the engagement ring shank. Although if you are after a design where the shape is simply cut out of one side of the wedding ring, then the width of the wedding ring should be wider otherwise the strength of the ring could be compromised.

The Right Ring For You
After an initial discussion we will make a silver sample of your shaped wedding ring to show you how the two rings work together and how the wedding ring looks when worn alone.
We are able to make necessary alterations to the sample until we have the design and shape that is perfect for you.
It is only then that we will make your ring out of your chosen metal. This is usually the same metal that the engagement ring is made from.
We will then clean and polish your engagement ring to bring it back to new so it matches your new wedding ring.
