We recommend that when buying engagement ring consideration should be given to your wedding ring if you want them to wear them together. Most wedding ring manufacturers offer matching engagement and wedding ring with or without diamonds on the wedding ring. Simple solitaire rings can be easily matched with a wedding ring.

Widths


Widths of wedding rings are measured in millimetres. Traditional Bride Wedding Rings range from 2 to 8 millimetres and Groom Wedding Rings range from 4 to 10 millimetres. Rings do come in widths as large as 12 millimetres. Always try the same rings in different widths as different widths have different effect. Try to choose a wedding ring that is comfortable. Many fancy wedding rings look beautiful but are not comfortable.

Styles


Wedding Rings do come in different styles, round outside flat inside (half round), round outside round inside (comfort fit or court shape), flat outside and flat inside (flat), flat outside and round inside (flat comfort fit or court shape). All these rings also come with mill grain edges for a fancy appearance. The decision should be based on appearance and comfort. For example a wide flat wedding ring might be uncomfortable and you should go with flat comfort fit ring.

His 'n Hers


Lot of couples prefer matching wedding rings in traditional or modern designs. Lot of wedding ring manufacturer offer a wide variety of matching wedding rings for her and him. Widths for her and him could vary, generally grooms prefer wider wedding ring even though both the wedding rings are matching.

On Its Own


If you think that you will not wear your engagement ring and wedding ring together very often, you may prefer a stand-alone wedding ring. Some women prefer to wear only their wedding ring at work and only the engagement ring at social functions. If this is the case, you may prefer a larger or more expensive wedding ring.
